Friday:
We spent the morning finishing packing up. That way we could leave for the airport right from D23. D23 was the Disney convention that we went to. It was at the Anaheim Convention Center, which is where VidCon was.
It was pretty cool. There were a bunch of exhibits for things that are going to come to Disney in the future. There was also a long line that we had to stay in to get some figurine for the Disney Infinity game that had yet to come out. There was also a really cool exhibit for Mary Poppins. They had a bunch of the props from the movie as well as some things from a fan art competition. There were some pretty awesome things. Outside of the convention center, there was also a game set up. It was based off of Phineas and Ferb. Agent P was captured and you had to use a machine that shot plastic waffles to try and free him. Rohan's machine was faulty and the other kid didn't hit any, so I did most of the work freeing Agent P. It felt pretty awesome!
Later in the day, we had to leave to get going to the airport. We had a little bit of adventure at the airport, as usually happens when going through an airport. When we finally got to the correct area, he got his bags weighed to send them off while I waited with my parents. He came back carrying a bunch of stuff. Apparently his bag was overweight, so he took some things out to get it down to the proper weight. He then needed to somehow pack all of that stuff into his already stuffed backpack. Luckily I had given him some of my space bags so that we could shrink some of it down. His Perry the Platypus pillow pet looked really funny.
As always, it was really hard to say goodbye. I couldn't stop myself from crying all the way to the airport. At least this time I knew that it wouldn't be too much longer because next time we saw each other we would be getting married and the government isn't going to make us separate again.
After we dropped off Rohan, my parents and I went to a different hotel near the airport since we would be leaving the next day.
